Lily is 2 months old today. Part of me is saying "Already?" and another part is thinking "It's only been 2 months?" All my days blend together so it seems like it's been longer. She's doing well. She's still small for her age but not small enough that the doctors are worried. Today she weighed in at 9 lbs and 7 oz and is now 21 inches long. She's gained 3 lbs and 7 oz since birth and has grown 2 and 1/2 inches. The doctor is happy with her progress but she is in the 3rd and 9th percentile for weight and height. It made me think about how some people have babies as big as she is right now.
We decided to spread out her shots a bit. She only got one shot and her oral immunization today. We go back in 2-3 weeks for the other two shots. She did pretty good and is a little cranky this afternoon. Not as bad as I thought she'd be.
I'm debating about driving to visit my parents this weekend. It would be her first car ride that is longer than 30 minutes. And I'd probably be going by myself. Just not sure yet.
Hope everyone's Wednesday is going well. I can't wait for all the other babies to arrive. I keep thinking any day now for Amity and Tara. ![]()
Re: 2 Months today
It's so great to hear an update from you. It sounds like Lily is doing really well! That's great!
My c-section is scheduled for May 28 but I may not last that long. She has dropped and I feel a LOT of pressure.

That's a good thing if she's already dropping. Yay!! It won't be long now.
I was remembering her birth today and it's all still pretty fresh. I'm sure in time I'll forget some of the details but I'm so ready to do it again. Granted we are waiting because I don't want our second right away but I thought it would take longer after giving birth for me to be ready to do it again.
I can't believe it's been 2 months already!
I would probably spread her shots out too. I worry about immunizations but not so much that I wouldn't have them done.
By the way, I love seeing Lily's photos on Facebook! Every time I see her, I want to pinch her cheeks!
Wow!!! 2 months!?!!!!!! It does go by so so fast. I'd love to see pics of her. My cousin's daugther will be 1 month old on Friday! I can't believe that either.
Tara- the 28th is coming SUPER FAST!!!!! Are you ready? Do you think you will go earlier than that? Also, did you hear anything else about them wanting to remove your fibroids during...
I think I might go earlier but I REALLY hope I don't! Since I'm scheduled for a c-section I don't want to labor at all. Laboring could cause my fibroid to bleed, which wouldn't be good. I'm meeting with my doctor again on Monday to discuss the removal of the fibroid. My mom is coming with me because we both have a lot of questions and we want to make sure they are all answered. My doctor likes to talk in circles or not clear out answer what you've asked. Maybe with two of us in there he'll be a little more clear. I really wish he would do the surgery earlier than the 28th, but then again I really don't want to be in the hospital over Memorial Day Weekend.

Wow! Two month?! It seems like just yesterday!
I hope that all goes well for you, Tara. It is hard to believe that you are all almost done!
Megan - I was trying to figure out a way to upload pictures from my phone to shutterfly without having to send them to an email. So far I haven't figured it out.
I'll try to get some posted here. Or we can be friends on Facebook!!
